Air India under fire after passenger finds blade in food

In a shocking incident on Air India's flight no. 175 from Bangalore to San Francisco, Mathures Paul, a journalist from the 'Telegraph,' discovered a sharp blade in his fig chaat. The mishap occurred when Paul bit into the dish, only to find a metal blade in his mouth. Fortunately, he escaped unhurt. The flight crew responded with a brief apology and offered a bowl of chickpeas as a replacement, which Paul reported as inadequate.

Paul shared his harrowing experience on his personal X (formerly Twitter) account, highlighting the severe negligence by Air India's in-flight service. He emphasized the potential danger, especially if a child had consumed the dish. Air India later reached out to Paul, offering a business class trip as compensation, which he rejected, labeling it as a bribe.
